Confirmed: Artie Lange checks into Rehab!

Howard Sterns Radio sidekick Artie Lange has checked himself into rehab for Drug and Alcohol according to his publicist.
The 40 year old comedian was admitted into an intensive outpatient rehab program over last weekend said spokes person Lewis Kyle.
Lange had to cancel numerous stand-up shows including the Bob Saget Comedy Central Roast that was scheduled for Sunday August 3rd.
A source told the New York Post that “Artie felt awful for not being there for Bob, but needed to make his health a priority”.
Lange reportedly plans to return to Stern’s Sirius radio show following treatment.
Will post an update when the Stern Show returns to the Air this Monday.

oh c’mon guy, artie is a riot. here’s to getting it together art.
I’m sure there will be a great story when he gets back Monday.
I’m not sure what 1 week of Rehab is going to do for that man though.
I watch Howard TV and besides Artie looking like a slob all the time, he seems uninterested in the program half of the time and unappreciative of the opportunity to be on such a great radio/tv show. Obviously he has something going on, he looks miserable on top of everything else. Get better man!
