i had two xm radios, i bought a 2010 pickup in dec. got 3 months of sirius free, i done away with one of the xm radios and now have one xm and 1 sirius, i talked to a lady in march to re uped my xm for a year and the lady told me she could merge them so i could keep my family plan, turns out thats not true, there supposed to be one but there not, i have been on hold 6 times in the last 1.5 hours with both xm and sirius and it took me all that time to get to a supervisor who still could'nt tell me crap, been with xm 6 years, im paid up for a year but if they don't change it will be my last, no wonder they had problems before they merged, there is no doubt the top dogs don't care, after 3 years of being together you would think they could figure it out. WRONG, DUMB ASS

I have 2 xm radios. I purchased a car that has Sirius service.
I want to cancel 1 xm radio and switch radio service to my Sirius radio.
Why are customers penalized as an XM/Sirius merging issue. This clearly is just a "Billing Issue" that can have a link between 2 radio accounts.

Richard if you have a second radio you will need to pay for a second subscription, but it is at a reduced price. If you hurry up you can lock in the price for the future but they are raising the price of a second subscription soon.

If you need more info just ask. I would give XM a call and get a price locked in before it's too late.

This is not a comment but a question. I have xm radio in my home. I bought a truck with xm installed. Do I have to buy a nother subscription to use it in my truck after the dealer pricing is over?

You can always buy a new Sirius Radio and transfer the service to the new radio. Just have it installed or do it yourself then give Sirius a call to cancel service on the old one and add it to the new one.

Sirius is correct. The only Radio right now that supports it is the Starmate 5.

I know it sucks but that is the way it is, all of the older radios can not support Al La Carte so if you want that option you will need to upgrade.
