Sirius and XM submitted a Huge 209 page filing with the FCC. In the report Sirius and XM point out various people and organizations that even include former and current government officials, minority interest groups and former FCC officials.
It is great to see such a wider range of people in favor of this merger. It’s only a select few that see to oppose and they are the same people that have been stretching this on for over a year now.
We have seen through this whole merger that people are in favor of it, but never in a document of this size compiled into one massive filing.
Hopefully this means good news for the ever lasting merger. I have heard reports of the merger happening mid month, but just like the other 300 reports I would take it with a grain of salt.
